What are eyelash extensions?
Eyelash extensions are lightweight fibers applied individually to suitable natural lashes. They add length, definition and fullness without relying on strip lashes or daily mascara. Every set at Xpert Lashing is customized for your eyes, natural lashes and preferred style.
What is the difference between Classic, Hybrid and Volume lashes?
Classic lashes use individual extensions to create a soft, clean and natural effect. Hybrid lashes combine individual extensions with lightweight fans for additional texture and fullness. Volume lashes use lightweight fans throughout the set to produce a fuller, fluffier appearance.
Which eyelash extensions look the most natural?
A Classic Full Set usually provides the most natural, mascara-like result. Your lash design can be adjusted based on your eye shape, natural lashes and desired length.
How do I choose the right lash style?
Your appointment begins with a personal consultation. We will discuss whether you prefer a natural, wispy, soft-glam or fuller look and recommend a set that complements your features and supports the health of your natural lashes.
How much do eyelash extensions cost at Xpert Lashing?
A Classic Full Set is $90, a Hybrid Full Set is $135 and a Volume Full Set is $150. Classic refills are $60, Hybrid refills are $75 and Volume refills are $90. Professional lash removal is available for $35.
How long do eyelash extensions last?
Your natural lashes grow and shed on individual cycles, so some extension loss is normal. Retention varies according to your lash cycle, lifestyle, skincare products and aftercare. Most clients schedule a refill every two to three weeks to maintain their desired fullness.
What happens during an eyelash-extension appointment?
You will relax with your eyes closed while your lower lashes are protected. Extensions are carefully applied to suitable natural lashes according to your customized lash design. Many clients find the private appointment relaxing and fall asleep during the service.
Will eyelash extensions damage my natural lashes?
Extensions that are properly selected, applied and maintained should not require pulling or unnecessary stress on your natural lashes. Your set will be customized using appropriate lengths and weights. Avoid picking or pulling your extensions, and always schedule professional removal when needed.
Are eyelash extensions safe for sensitive eyes?
Some people may be sensitive or allergic to lash adhesives or other products used during the service. Please disclose known allergies, previous reactions, recent eye procedures or current irritation before your appointment. A patch test may be recommended, although it cannot guarantee that a reaction will not occur.
How should I prepare for my lash appointment?
Please arrive with clean, dry lashes and no mascara, eyeliner, oils or strip-lash adhesive. Remove contact lenses before the service if possible. Avoid caffeine immediately before your appointment if it causes your eyes to flutter.
How should I care for my eyelash extensions?
Clean your lashes daily using a lash-safe cleanser and gently pat them dry. Brush them with a clean spoolie when dry. Keep oily products away from the lash line and avoid rubbing, pulling or picking your extensions. Consistent cleansing and gentle care can support better retention.
Can I wear mascara with eyelash extensions?
Mascara is generally unnecessary and can make extensions more difficult to clean. Waterproof mascara and oil-based eye products should be avoided because they may affect retention. If you want a fuller appearance, consider booking a Hybrid or Volume set instead.
Can I use an eyelash curler?
Mechanical eyelash curlers are not recommended on extensions because they may bend, snag or pull the lashes. Tell your lash artist if you prefer a stronger curl so the appropriate extension style can be selected.
Can I swim, shower or exercise with lash extensions?
Once you have followed the initial aftercare instructions provided at your appointment, normal activities can usually resume. Clean your lashes after swimming or heavy sweating, dry them gently and brush them once they are completely dry.
When do I need a refill instead of a new full set?
Most clients return every two to three weeks for a refill. If too many extensions have shed, the remaining lashes are heavily grown out or the set was applied elsewhere, a new full set or removal may be necessary. Contact Xpert Lashing if you are unsure which service to select.
How are eyelash extensions removed?
Extensions should be removed professionally using a product designed to release the adhesive. Do not pull, cut or attempt to remove them yourself, as this may damage your natural lashes. Professional removal is available at Xpert Lashing for $35.
